29 April 2020: The IED Article 75 Committee gave a positive opinion on the draft Commission Implementing Decision establishing BAT conclusions for surface treatment using organic solvents including preservation of wood and wood products with chemicals (STS) through a written procedure due to the COVID-19 situation.

The revised BREF for the Food, Drink and Milk Industries (FDM) has been issued on 20/12/2019.

The revised BREF for Waste Incineration (WI) has been issued on 20/12/2019.

The first draft of the revised BREF for the Textiles Industry (TXT) has been issued on 19/12/2019. Deadline to receive comments: 20 March 2020.

03 December 2019:The Commission implementing decision establishing the BAT conclusions for Waste Incineration has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The first draft of the BREF on Common Waste Gas Management and Treatment Systems in the Chemical Sector (WGC)  has been issued on 29/11/2019. Deadline to receive comments: 28 February 2020.

The fourteenth meeting of the IED Article 13 forum took place on 14 October 2019 to give an opinion on the BREF for Surface Treatment using Organic solvents including Preservation of Wood and Wood Products with Chemicals (STS).

The final draft of the revised BREF on Surface Treatment Using Organic Solvents including Preservation of Wood and Wood Products with Chemicals (STS) has been issued on 25/07/2019. Deadline to receive IED Article 13 Forum comments: 27 September 2019

17 June 2019: The fifteenth meeting of the IED Article 75 Committee took place to give an opinion on the BAT conclusions for Food, Drink and Milk (FDM), and on the BAT conclusions for Waste Incineration (WI).

The first draft of the revised BREF on Ferrous Metals Processing (FMP) has been issued on 29/03/2019. Deadline to receive comments: 7 June 2019.
